Our Trustees

I am very much looking forward to being part of the Oak Hills Alumni and Educational Foundation. It is important to me that we invest in our youth and help set them on track for a successful life.

About me. After graduation I traveled for a few years, then married and started a family. Once our children began school, I too went back to school and became a Certified Food Service Manager. I secured a job with the district and quickly moved into management, eventually landing at High School. With an enrollment of about 3000 students, it was a challenging yet enjoyable job. I retired after 25 years of service and my husband Mike set about checking another item off our bucket list by visiting all 50 states. We celebrated our forty-fourth wedding anniversary this past September.

I have always been an active and community minded person. I served for eleven years on The Cincinnati State Curriculum Advisory board, recently chaired our 50-year OH class reunion. I am Chaplin for the Cheviot Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, and over the years I have headed up and served on far too many committees to list.  

I graduated in 1973, our son Mike graduated in 2000 and our daughter Kelley graduated 200I. Now our grandchildren attend Oak Hills. The district is steeped in tradition and excellence, and I am proud that my family has been a part of it spanning 6 decades. I feel fortunate that my descendants are attending Oak Hills as it is top ranking in academics, has amazing learning tools in the art and music departments and the computer labs are state of the art. Our sports complexes are top notch, and we are members of the GMC. Also very important to a student's development is that they have extracurriculars to suit their interests. The High School strives to cultivate every student's enthusiasm with over 44 clubs. Oak Hills goes above and beyond supplying everything needed for a well-rounded education and I am excited to help work to maintain these objectives by becoming a board member of the Alumni and Education Foundation.
